Viridian’s Bromelain is a protease enzyme extracted from pineapple stem. Protease is a digestive enzyme that breaks down proteins into amino acids that the body can readily digest and absorb. 

The enzymes in bromelain are thought to work effectively at many different pH levels, which mean they survive in the acidic environment of the stomach.
