Theridion
Orange Spider, Latrodectus curacaviensis
There is no zoological species that is recognised under the name, Theridion curassavicum, and there are currently no poisonous spiders on the island of Curaçao, according to Caribseek: http://www.caribseek.com/Curacao/curacao-nature-animals.shtml
It is now understood that Theridion curassavicum is actually Latrodectus curacaviensis, which did exist on the island of Curaçao at least until the late 19th century, but has died out since. For further information see: http://www.hindawi.com/journals/psyche/1964/086469/abs/
