Subtitled 'Surviving Influenza Epidemics and Pandemics Past, Present and Future with Homeopathy, this edition maps the history of influenza world-wide by way of an extended and fascinating introduction and towards the end of the book, includes a special discussion of bird flu. The book includes some incredibly helpful remedy differentiation, grouped according to the symptom which predominates, eg fever, respiratory symptoms, gastro-intestinal symptoms, mental/emotional symptoms etc and for this alone, is worth having.

This is followed by a section entitled "Influenza Differential Reference" which is an enhanced materia medica of flu remedies, including remedies to use for complications both during and after influenza.

In this book, the author has put together a really excellent combination of historical narrative, disease investigation and influenza remedies and it makes prescribing so much clearer and effective.
