Faculty of Homeopathy

The Faculty of Homeopathy, founded in 1844 and incorporated by act of parliament in 1950, is a membership body for statutorily regulated doctors, nurses, midwives, dentists, pharmacists, podiatrists, osteopaths, chiropractors and vets who incorporate homeopathy into their day to day professional practice. We have over 1,100 members worldwide though the majority are in the UK easily recognisable by the letters MFHom.

The Society of Homeopaths

The Society was founded in 1978 by a small group of homeopaths who were passionate about high standards of education and practice in homeopathic medicine. At that time, homeopathy was at the beginning of a resurgence and that small group of eight grew surely and steadily to become the largest organisation registering homeopaths in this country. Currently we have 1,400 registered members across the UK, easily recognisable by the letters RSHom.

The Alliance of Registered Homeopaths

In 2001, six practising homeopaths identified the need to establish a highly professional, yet caring organisation, to represent homeopaths. They wanted to create an environment in which practitioners would be able to grow and develop on a personal level, in order to deliver quality homeopathy to their patients. At the same time, this organisation needed to register and regulate practitioners to a high standard. The ARH was founded to realise these ideals. We now have over one thousand registered, student and associate members easily recognisable by the letters MARH

The Homeopathic Medical Association

The HMA is an association of qualified professional homœopaths. Members of the Register must have passed a qualifying examination at a college approved by the Council and/or proved their competence to practice homœopathy to the satisfaction of the Council.

The Homeopathic Medical Association (HMA) has been registering, regulating and supporting professional homœopaths since 1985

British Association of Homeopathic Veterinary Surgeons

The Association was formed in 1982, to advance the understanding, knowledge and practice of veterinary homeopathy (homoeopathy / homœopathy). It aims to stimulate professional awareness of homeopathy and to encourage and provide for the training of veterinary surgeons in the practice of homeopathy. As a service to animal owners seeking homeopathic help, the Association will supply names and addresses of veterinary surgeons with the homeopathic qualification: Veterinary Member of the Faculty of Homeopathy (VetMFHom).
