Mammal Remedies in Homeopathy
Jonathan Hardy

A beautifully presented and striking book. As denoted by the title, this is a book about the themes and issues common to mammal remedies and those characteristics which help us differentiate between the diverse subspecies within the class of mammals. It is precise and insightful, and written with considerable warmth and expertise. The author writes "I am hoping this book can help colleagues a little in their efforts to develop a systematic understanding of mammal remedies. In other words to assimilate the basic themes which relate to these cases."
In this, I think there is much modesty for the book achieves its goal and more besides - there are chapters on the themes of mammal remedies, the biology of mammals, the language associated with mammal cases and remedies, as well as the themes associated with some of the matridonal sarcode remedies. Subspecies include primates, cats and dogs, wild cats, wolf, brown bear, koala bear, meerkat, cattle, fallow deer, American beaver, sperm whale and common bottlenose dolphin. Sarcodes include placenta, amniotic fluid, folliculinum and umbilical cord (as well as several milk remedies including humanum and maternum).
This is a deeply achieved piece of writing, emerging from many years of prescribing mammal remedies at the deepest level. It is suitable for both students and practitioners alike and is a book to be treasured for its healing wisdom.
