This is an Indian edition of a classic late 19th century text on therapeutics. Written in the medicalese of the time, eg "Hepatic Derangements", "Menstruation and its ailments", etc, it's nevertheless a treasury of priceless information. Each section - for example, "Meningitis" - contains keynote descriptions of possible remedies in alphabetical order: from Aethusa to Zincum, (to use the same example). For ease of reference, an index of page referenced complaints, from, "Abdomen - Distended", to ,"Zona, Zoster", follows.
